Manchester United are facing a defensive crisis ahead of this week’s Premier League fixtures against Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
Harry Maguire has picked up a muscle injury that will keep him out for about three weeks.
Maguire, who suffered the injury in training, is expected to be for the Euros and has a chance of making the FA Cup Final.
But the injury leaves United without any recognised centre-backs heading into their match against Crystal Palace, live on Monday Night Football.
Casemiro joined Maguire at centre-back for the 1-1 draw with Burnley last weekend.
Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof have all been on the sidelines with injuries in recent weeks.
Jonny Evans returned to training this week but remains a doubt.
