“Your kitchen sponge has more germs than your toilet seat” Aproko doctor tells Nigerians

Aproko Doctor explained that kitchen sponges tend to accumulate an alarming amount of germs due to their infrequent replacement. In his plea to the public, Aproko Doctor emphasized the importance of regularly changing kitchen sponges, particularly for those who may have been using the same sponge for years. He also added that people who could not change their sponges because they don’t have the money for it should use bleach on it to disinfect it.
He stated that they could also use their microwave which will help kill the microbes.
