“Na your papa business” – Nigerians drag Davido for copying wizkid’s famous line
Nigerians are currently dragging singer Davido following a particular message he sent to a fan earlier today.
Earlier today, the Afrobeat artist was seen on Twitter being quite active. While engaging with some of his fans as well as other netizens on the X platform, he came for a troll’s father who slammed him for his music.
It all started when Davido took to the X platform to reveal that he needed an electric car charger shipped to Nigeria.
A netizen known as SeniorManAndre immediately slammed him for being a fool while questioning if he did not know where he bought the electric car so that he would buy a charger there.
Responding to this, Davido replied by stating, “that one na your papa’s business.”
Netizens could not but compare this statement to the one that Wizkid made some few weeks ago. Wizkid had taken to Twitter to reveal that money does not buy love.
However, a netizen had disagreed with him. Wizkid responded by stating that it was his father’s business. In his words, he revealed “that one na your papa’s business.”
This statement also happens to mirror the exact statement that Davido made, which netizens believe was a clear case of him being a copycat.
They also took to the comment section to express their opinion.
One JustMeTruman had this to say,
“Wizkid leads, Davido follows.”
Another netizen known as Deborah had this to say,
“normally we all know that Wizkid is their mentor, they all want to be like our biggest bird.”
One Olalikan had this to say,
“Wizkid is the biggest artist.”
Another netizen known as Mayo OJ had this to say,
“Davido definitely has Wizkid’s picture in his wallets”.
