‘You fill all my emptiness with your endless love’ Oniru, Oba Abdulwasiu Gbolahan eulogizes his wife her birthday

The Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Gbolahan Lawal, has declared today, 31st May, a public holiday for his wife to mark her birthday.

In a lengthy post shared on Instagram, the monarch eulogized and expressed love for his wife. He also appreciates his wife for being a strong pillar of support in his life and the Oniru kingdom.

The monarch also went down memory lane when he first met his wife, saying that was his best year. He added that his wife made leadership easy for him, and he’s not afraid to rule because she remains his peace.

The Oniru wrote: AN OPEN LETTER TO MY DARLING OLORI

Dear Maiseme – (Monitemi)
Before I proceed further, I need you to know how special you are and how important today is; and therefore I hereby declare today a public holiday.

One of the proofs that God has blessed me, is the gift of you. You are a living proof that God is good. You fill all my emptiness with your endless love and I’m so thankful to have you as my wife.

The more years go by, the more I learn new things to love about you. You are the most amazing woman to me. My melanin popping beauty. Oh, how you beautify the palace with your gorgeous smile, carriage and presence. You have the most perfect dentition I have ever seen.

Thank you for always dishing out wisdom. You are indeed a strong pillar of support. The past 1 year with you on the throne has been awesome. I am not afraid to rule because you ARE MY PEACE.

You haven’t changed in your ways of support and encouragement; right from my training days at the Police academy in Wudil Kano, up until when I got Deployed to Birnin Kebbi in Kebbi State as a young Police officer. Now here I am still in love with you in Iru land. My prayer warrior, confidant and best friend.

1995 was one of the best years of my life because it led me to you. Love is too weak a word for what I feel for you. One life is too small a time to express how much I love you.

You are not just the mother of my children, but also the beat of my heart. You are not just the Olori of this Kingdom, but also the woman of my dreams. You are a dutiful and caring mother and this, I do not take for granted.

I love you sooo much my dear wife! The perfect decision of my life was marrying you. Thank you for making leadership so easy. I love you, always have, always will until a day after tomorrow Maiseme. My sweet Olori.

I wish you a happy birthday. May you always have many more reasons to smile.

Cheers, my Olori! @olorimariamlawal

Love,
Kabiyesi
