Timini Egbuson Shares Aspiration For Greater Collaboration Between Nollywood, Musicians
Nigerian actor and producer Timini Egbuson has voiced his frustration over what he perceives as a lack of support from musicians for the Nigerian film industry.
He highlighted that while Nollywood consistently supports and elevates the music industry, such reciprocal support is seldom given in return.
Taking to his X handle on Sunday, he wrote, “[I] really wish musicians supported Nollywood the way we support their music but that’s a conversation for another day.”

The Nigerian film and music industries share a strong connection.
Over the years, many musicians have appeared in Nollywood films, and several actors have also ventured into music, with some collaborating with musicians.
Some actresses have also appeared as vixens in music videos.
