Sunday Igboho warns Buhari against any attack on Igbos

Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo who is more popular as Sunday Igboho, has warned against any attack on Igbos.

Igboho stated in reaction to President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet threatening to shock Nigerians who are out to destroy his Government.

The president said “individuals or groups who want to destroy his government will be treated in a language they will not understand”.

Following the development, on Wednesday Twitter deleted the comment, saying it violated its rules.

Reacting, Igboho in a post via his Twitter account warned that no attack on Igbos will be tolerated.

According to him, “any attack on an Igbo is an attack on Nigerians.

“I feel bad when I see poor helpless people being slain in the southeast. They are also my brothers and sisters .

“We are all human. I am a Yoruba man, any attack on an Igbo is an attack on Nigerians.

“No Nigerian is more Nigerian than any Nigerian,” he wrote.

Social media users have mocked Nigerian Instagram brand influencer Laura Ikeji as she returns to her plastic surgeon to cut out a bit of her nose.

This comes a few months after Laura took to social media to brag about achieving her much-desired pointed nose shortly after undergoing a nose lift cosmetic surgery.

In a new development, an Instagram blogger identified as Cutie_Julls has disclosed Laura Ikeji has returned to her surgeon for adjustment and correction after she has been repeatedly bullied on social media.

Reacting to this, some social media users mocked Laura Ikeji, saying she may likely cut off the nose as they pointed some of the negative effects of cosmetic surgery.

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has made 14,468 international passports available for applicants to collect in Lagos State.

This was confirmed by Sunday Fagbamigbe, the Lagos Passport Controller, Lagos Passport Command on Wednesday.

Fagbamigbe explained the figure covered applicants in the three passport offices in Lagos State.

NIS suspended fresh passport applications to allow clearance of the backlog of all passport applications received before May 17.

The backlogs were expected to be cleared before June 8, the new deadline.

According to the Controller, 580 passports were ready for collection at Festac Passport Office.
