Nwaneri Bags POTM As Arsenal Beat Leicester City To Keep Pressure On Liverpool
Ethan Nwaneri has been voted Player of the Match in Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in Saturday’s Premier League game.
Arsenal closed to within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool as substitute Mikel Merino’s two late goals gave them victory against Leicester.
Merino’s 81st-minute goal was created by the Gunner’s outstanding player, 17-year-old Nwaneri, who hit the woodwork twice in the second half and was their main threat throughout.

Spanish midfielder Merino then struck again at the far post three minutes from time to wrap up a vital win and keep Arsenal’s title pursuit on track.
Arsenal now have 53 points from 25 matches.

Leicester remain in the relegation zone with 17 points from their 25 fixtures.
