Finland, Sweden Prepare For War, Distribute 5 Million Pamphlets To Alert Residents
Sweden has taken a significant step in preparing its citizens for potential war, distributing 5 million pamphlets nationwide.
The move comes as neighboring Finland launches a preparedness website, highlighting the gravity of the security situation in the region.

The pamphlet, titled “If Crisis or War Comes,” outlines essential information on emergency preparedness, including natural disasters, cyber attacks, and military conflicts.
Mikael Frisell, Director of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), emphasized, “The security situation is serious and we all need to strengthen our resilience to face various crises and ultimately war.”
This updated 2024 pamphlet version, focuses strongly on war preparation, with simple illustrations and practical tips, such as stockpiling non-perishable food and storing water.

The brochure is also available in print (Swedish and English) and digital formats (Arabic, Farsi, Ukrainian, Polish, Somali, and Finnish).
Information Nigeria reports that Sweden’s decision to join North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), alongside Finland, has heightened tensions with Russia.
Former Army Chief, Micael Byden warned, “Swedes have to mentally prepare for war.”
Finland, sharing an 830-mile border with Russia, has also, on Monday, taken measures, launching a website with crisis preparedness information.
The distribution of pamphlets and Finland’s website launch demonstrate the seriousness of the situation.
As Sweden and Finland bolster their defenses, citizens are urged to remain vigilant and prepared for any eventuality.
