Ebuehi, Sadiq to join Super Eagles’ camp
Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina will be replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq, ahead of the Nigeria’s international friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
Awoniyi and Aina, who both play for Nottingham Forest in the Premier Leagye, will miss the friendly matches due to injuries.
Both players did not feature in Forest’s 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Before the game at Selhurst Park, their manager Steve Cooper revealed that Awoniyi will be out for up to one month with groin injury.
Awoniyi has scored three goals in seven league appearances while Aina has made five outings in the English topflight.
The Super Eagles will first take on Saudi Arabia on 13 October before facing Mozambique on October 16, with both games holding in Portugal.
