Bisola Badmus to be sent abroad for brain surgery as son receives scholarship through University
A volunteer has promised to send Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus abroad for her brain surgery. The good news was made known by her colleague, Biola Bayo, who, via her Instagram page, stated that it was left to the actress to decide which country she would go to for the surgery.
To add to it, her son Michael’s school fees have been paid all through his secondary school, and he has also received a scholarship from his University from another person.
“PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT WHAT I PROMISED TO ANNOUNCE AT 6 PM.
Malik’s school fees have been paid, all through his secondary school. He also has a scholarship all through his university by another person entirely. All other help or donations will be channeled towards Bisola’s well-being. Kindly say a word of prayer for these beautiful women.
We equally got a volunteer who promised to send Bisola abroad for her brain surgery (either to the USA, UK, or India) anywhere in the world where they specialize in that kind of surgery. All expenses shall be paid by him. The decision is left to Bisola and family to take.
This is just to update you all and to say thank you for all the love and support we’ve been getting.
Please let’s keep Bisola and Mr Abiba in our prayers as we’re still waiting on the hospital for a (perfect) matching donor as soon as possible.
MY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT COMES UP AT 6 PM. WAIT FOR IT!”.
Kemi Filani reported last week that Bisola Badmus, in an interview with colleague Kunle Afod, revealed she has been battling a brain tumor for three years, and it got to a stage where she couldn’t see or recognize anyone. Bisola, however, said she has been using drugs and her condition is improving.
In another interview with Biola Bayo, she opened up on her co-parenting struggles with her son’s father, Kwam1. She said she initially didn’t tell him about her sickness, but he got to know and helped her for a while until he stopped responding to her calls.
Reaching out to him, she stated that she wants him to take care of the responsibilities of their son as it hasn’t been easy for her.
Following her cry out, many Nigerians had offered assistance to her, with some offering to sponsor her son through school. Her colleague, Biola Bayo, via her Instagram page, made the good news known as she expressed gratitude to those who have been supporting her.
In a previous interview with another colleague, Kunle Afod, Bisola revealed she has been battling a brain tumor for three tears, and it got to a stage where she couldn’t see or recognize anyone. Bisola, however, said she has been using drugs and her condition is improving.
Recall that, in January of last year, Badmus had lost her mother.
March, she marked her mother’s 40 days remembrance, revealing that it had been the most painful for her and her siblings, but they have no one to question.
Her mother’s death came two years after the death of her brother. The Yoruba actress announcing his demise in a post on her Instagram said he had left the sinful, though, she didn’t disclose the cause of his death.
