Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, was caught on camera sharing credit alert for excited fans after training on Saturday.
Nigeria is preparing to play Rwanda in their last 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Monday.
The three-time African champions have already qualified as Group D leaders.
Ahead of the game, supporters swamped the team bus after training.
Boniface could however be seen copying bank details from the window of the bus and making money transfer.
The Bayer Leverkusen forward then instructed that the fans share the money amongst themselves.
Boniface will be hoping to get on the score sheet against Rwanda.
